Dean Johnson
Chair
Megan Allwein
Mr. Johnson earned a Master of Business Administration from The College of William and Mary and Bachelor of Business Administration in marketing from Texas A&M University. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner and a Certified Investment Management Analyst® (CIMA). He holds Series 7, 24, 63, and 66 licenses.

I am excited to be part of helping our area develop more aquatic programming and infrastructure in the South Metro area of Denver. I am originally from Littleton, Colorado where I swam competitively and coached numerous years. I married my high school sweetheart and we have two boys, a Westie dog, a Maine Coon cat and a fish. We enjoy swimming, theme parks, biking, basketball, football and camping as a family. Our family fosters puppies through Colorado Puppy Rescue. I have been teaching since 2004 and am currently at Cimarron Middle School leading the charge for Career & Technical Education. We live in Parker and love being connected to our community in so many ways.Â

Creative and results-driven professional with a unique blend of experience spanning enterprise network security, visual branding, and community advocacy. Proud mother of two competitive swimmers and an active resident of Parker, Colorado, I bring the same energy and dedication to my work as I do to supporting local youth athletics and community pool initiatives. Known for clear communication, strategic problem-solving, and bringing people together, I thrive when translating complex goals into meaningful results—whether managing technical projects or designing impact-driven brand messaging.

Todd Hoy brings nearly two decades of experience in business, legal, and strategic leadership, advising organizations through growth, partnerships, and complex initiatives. He is excited to bring that experience to the Douglas County Aquatics Foundation and help create a high-quality, accessible aquatic facility that will serve families, athletes, and the broader Douglas County community.
Serena Hendon is a proud swim mom of a high schooler along with being a longtime Parker resident. She is a licensed professional engineer who spent nearly 20 years in the civil engineering industry before transitioning to law. For more than a decade, her legal practice has focused on all aspects of construction. Licensed to practice law in both Colorado and Wyoming, Serena brings a unique combination of engineering, legal, and construction experience to the Foundation. She is excited to put this experience to work in bringing a premier aquatic facility to Douglas County. Â
