Big news: DCAF has officially applied for our own 501(c)(3) status! This is a huge step toward building Douglas County's first publicly accessible 50-meter pool.

There's a catch, though — those funds have to come from a completely separate channel, unconnected to our fiscal sponsor Aces Swim Team.

Every dollar raised goes toward covering our IRS filing fee and other costs of becoming an independent public charity — clearing the way for larger grants and donor support for the pool.

We're at 242 names on our Show Your Support list — but we know that's just a fraction of the swimmers, parents, and coaches who want to see this pool built. We've had tens of thousands of social media views this year alone. Now we need that same enthusiasm to show up as real names on our list — because that's the number the Town of Parker and Douglas County actually look at.
